We ordered this gazebo because we wanted something to put over our hot tub for full privacy. Thus we needed both the mosquito netting and privacy shades. This was the only product on Amazon having both. It looked good, had nice neutral colors, so we ordered it. Took 2 construction-savvy men to set it up. It wasn’t something I could’ve done with my husband alone. It looks really nice and has all the features we wanted but the material that the frame is made out of is cheap. Considering it was about $350 we expected a more solid frame. We’ve had it set up for about a week and it rained a bit this past week. The rain creates water pockets on the top of the canopy and one led to one of the poles of the frames bending. We’ve contacted the seller to see about getting a replacemement frame. We’ll see how that goes. I do like the look and functionality of this but it’s not feasible to take the cover off every time it rains and if we continue to get these water pockets, my fear is that all the frames will eventually bend and then break. Today we put some small holes thru the canopy flap and used wire ties to more solidly attach the canopy flaps to the frame hoping this will allow the water to roll off and stop creating these water pockets. I hope it works because I really want the privacy when in my hot tub and this is the perfect size, height, coloring, and like i said, has both the mosquito netting and privacy shades. I’ll write more when I see what happens.
